I played Drawful 2 on Jackbox with my game study classmates. The game need multiple participants playing in the real tie. We are first asked to draw out avatar. Then we are given a ridiculous prompt to draw a scene. By turns, we guess everyone’s drawing by giving the drawing a title. And we vote on all the titles to see which one is the real one. Whoever gets more vote or vote the right title, gets more points.

The mechanics of this game are drawing, understanding your peer, guessing and creativity. I had fun with playing with my peers. Some drawing are very hilarious. I remember one drawing was a couple on a bird, however, the real title is me and bae. I guessed that is Titanic on a bird. And I got many votes from who agree with me. I think the trick to win this game is not to be too normal. You need to find a patterns of what type of prompts the game most likely generate. You also have to understand your peers to know their personalities and titles they like to name.

I had fun with this game because I was able to interact with my peer and laugh at everyone’s funny drawing and ridiculous title. It is fun to guess and get many people agree with you on one idea. Playing with an audience shifts my focus on how good a drawing can be to what my peers are thinking. It builds relationship and make me know better about the group. Laughters are big part of this game.
